Suman Kumari becomes Pakistan’s first Hindu woman judge


Suman Kumari Pakistan’s first Hindu woman has become a Civil Judge. Earlier, there were no Hindu women judges there. After passing the examination of judicial officers, the Hindu woman was appointed as the Civil Judge. He had secured 54th rank in merit list for the appointment of Civil Judge.

Suman Kumari, resident of Kambar-Shahdadkot, Sindh province will serve in his home district. Shahadadkot is a backward city on the border of Sindh and Balochistan.

Suman Kumari:

Suman has studied Post Graduation in Law from LLB and Hyderabad from Syed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Science and Technology Institute in Hyderabad.

Suman’s father is an ophthalmologist and his elder brother is a software engineer. His sister is a chartered accountant. Suman is a fan of singer Lata Mangeshkar and Atif Aslam.

As we know, Judge Rana Bhagwan Das was appointed as the judge before the Hindu community in Pakistan. He was Chief Justice of Pakistan from 1960 to 1968. In addition, he took over as Executive Chief Justice from 2005 to 2007.
