Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has selected Pramod Agrawal, a 1991 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer for the post of Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Coal India Limited (CIL). He will succeed incumbent Anil Kumar Jha retiring in January 2020.
Agrawal, a post-graduate (M Tech) in Engineering, is currently Principal Secretary for Urban Development and Housing Department of Madhya Pradesh.
