India has slipped two places to rank 53rd Position in Global Annual talent ranking released by renowned IMD Business School, Switzerland . Switzerland retained the top slot.
Within Asia, Singapore has topped the charts with a global 13th place on the list that ranks 63 countries in developing, attracting and retaining talent.
India ranked at 51st Position in 2017. Singapore topped the Asia region with 13th Rank while China is ranked 39th. India ranked 30th Position in Readiness factor but lags in Investment and Development factor in which it ranked below average 63rd rank.
The rankings are based on three factors: Investment and Development, Appeal, and Readiness. These factors include indicators that capture the resources invested in developing local talent, the extent to which a country attracts and retains talent, and the quality of skills available in the talent pool.
