3-day National Cardiology Conference started in Lucknow :

The 3-day National Cardiology Conference 2019 has been started at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of medical sciences in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu was the chief guest of this conference. The conference was organized by Dept of Cardiology. The conference being held for the first time in Uttar Pradesh to provide an opportunity to showcase newer innovations in Cardiology which can help to deliver cost-effective cardiology care for the patients.

DRDO said that all low earth satellites are in reach of ASAT missile :

Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) said that the anti-satellite (ASAT) test, Mission Shakti, conducted in the month of March is a “deterrence capability” and the missile can cover all satellites in Low Earth Orbit (LEO). LEO was chosen based on simulations with the primary objective being to minimise debris. It was intentionally done at 280 km altitude so that debris decay fast It also said that the guidance and control algorithm has been developed to do interception at 1,000 km above the earth. 

Chennai Central has been renamed as Puratchi Thalaivar Dr M G Ramachandran Chennai Central after Dr. MG Ramachandran :

Chennai Central railway stationrenamed by the Tamil Nadu State Government as Puratchi Thalaivar Dr MG Ramachandran Central Railway Station after late Chief Minister Dr. MG Ramachandran. Neeraj Sharma, Railway Executive Board Director notified that the change of name would be possible provided there should not be any inaugural event as a result of the election code of conduct.

Justice Pradeep Nandrajog appointed as the Chief justice of Bombay High Court :

Justice Pradeep Nandrajog was sworn in as the Chief Justice of Bombay high Court. Priorly, he was serving as the Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court. His oath was administered by  Maharashtra Governor CH Vidyasagarrao at Raj Bhavan,Mumbai.
