- India has secured 49 places in this year’s list compared to 42 last year. Indian Institute of Technology Indore (IIT Indore) has become India’s second highest ranked university and a global top 400 institution.
- IIT Bombay has gone down from the 351-400 rankings band to the 401-500 band.
- Amrita University from Tamil Nadu has made a steep increase from the 801-1000 band to 601-800 band.
